I called for help from a Christian Science practitioner in Plainfield because I was getting eaten up by jealousy, and feeling terribly guilty about it.

The practitioner lovingly agreed to help and then asked what I was jealous about. When I explained, quite ashamed, that it was an attractive younger women who, at the office, seemed too easy with my husband, the practitioner simply said: “That is your spiritual sense warning you to protect your marriage. There is nothing wrong with that!” I was also given a wonderful statement to work with: “I am a spiritual idea surrounded by spiritual ideas, and each of these in turn is surrounded by spiritual ideas.”

No longer feeling guilty and armed with this wonderful truth, I spoke to my husband about my concern. He was so grateful that I spoke up because he was uneasy about the situation too! He was in full agreement that we had to protect our marriage, and made it very clear to this other women that he was happily married and would let nothing interfere with it.

This healing has strengthened our marriage, and has encouraged me to respect my spiritual sense and not to automatically feel guilty when I feel uneasy.

I am so grateful for the help of the practitioner, and for the independent Christian Science that the Plainfield Church has shown me.
